March 2025, Bangka Barat Regency Experienced the Fourth Highest Inflation Nationally

BPS Bangka Barat Regency released the development of the Consumer Price Index in March 2025 on Tuesday (8/4).Bangka Barat Regency experienced month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation of 3.13 percent, and year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 0.88 percent. The m-to-m inflation that occurred in March was the fourth highest inflation nationally.

Expenditure groups that contributed to m-to-m inflation in March 2025 were the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 2.41 percent; the food, beverage, and tobacco group by 0.69 percent; the personal care and other services group by 0.07 percent; and the transportation; and clothing and footwear group by 0.01 percent. Conversely, the expenditure groups that contributed to m-to-m deflation in March 2025 were the household supplies, equipment, and routine maintenance group by 0.04 percent and the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.02 percent.
