Abstract

  • The number of guests staying at star-rated hotels in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2019 was 27,474. This number increased by 3.89 percent compared to the number of guests in the previous month which were 26,446 people. The number of foreign guests rose 83.68 percent while the number of domestic guests rose 2, 57 percent.
  • The Hotel Occupancy Rate (TPK) star rating in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2019 reached an average of 30.10 percent, up 2.87 points compared to the January 2019 TPK which was recorded at 27.24 percent.
  • The highest ROR for star-rated hotels according to districts / cities in February 2019 was in Central Bangka Regency (40.36 percent), followed by Pangkalpinang City (30.19 percent), Belitung Regency (30.16 percent), and Bangka Regency at 16.80 percent .
  • As of February 2019, the overall total length of stay of guests in a star classification hotel for 1.93 days, decreased by 0.11 days compared to the previous month. During February 2019, the average length of stay of foreign guests (2.71 days) was 0.8 days longer than Indonesian guests (1.91 days).
