A. EXPORT DEVELOPMENT
  • The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in January 2020 was valued at US $ 115.1 million, up 21.45 percent compared to the export value in January 2019.
  • The value of tin exports rose 61.06 percent, while non-profit fell 72.90 percent (y-on-y).
  • Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports fell by 3 percent. Non-lead exports fell 65.03 percent, while tin exports rose 10.89 percent.
  • In January 2020, the United States absorbed 32.26 percent (US $ 34.7 million) of tin exports, while Vietnam absorbed 73.64 percent (US $ 5.6 million) of non-lead exports.
  • The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January 2020 dominated US $ 5.5 million or 72.07 percent of the total non-regional exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
B. DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT
  • The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in January 2020 was US $ 1.02 million, up 12.33 percent compared to January 2019.
  • All January 2020 imports are non-oil and gas.
  • Non-oil and gas imports in January 2020 were dominated by anthracites classified as mineral fuels (HS 27) by 85.78 percent (US878.9 thousand).
  • In January 2020, Vietnam became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 878.9 thousand (85.78 percent).
