Abstract

A. DEVELOPMENT OF EXPORTS

The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2020 was worth US $ 138.9 million, an increase of 17.04 percent compared to the export value in December 2019.
The export value of tin rose 10.08 percent, and non-tin rose 48.09 percent (y-on-y).
Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the export value increased by 74.79 percent. Tin exports rose 49.40 percent and non-tin exports rose 300.92 percent.
During January-December 2020, Singapore absorbed 16.44 percent (US $ 161.6 million) of tin exports, while China absorbed 24.26 percent (US $ 50.0 million) of non-tin exports.
The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-December 2020 dominated by US $ 157.7 million or 76.52 percent of the total non-imported exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

B. IMPORT DEVELOPMENT

The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2020 was US $ 1.18 million, a decrease of 33.98 percent compared to December 2019. Thus, imports from January to December 2020 became US $ 14.61 million.
As many as 78.95 percent of imports in January-December 2020 were non-oil and gas.
Non-oil and gas imports from January to December 2020 were dominated by machinery / mechanical aircraft (HS 84) amounting to 61.64 percent (US $ 7.11 million).
In January-December 2020, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 4.21 million (28.78 percent).
