August 2024 inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) West Bangka Regency is 0.11 percent

Abstract

In August 2024, West Bangka Regency year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation will be 0.11 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 101.11.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in the index in several expenditure groups, namely: clothing and footwear group by 3.87 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.13 percent; health group at 1.02 percent; transportation group at 0.56 percent; education group by 1.05 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.92 percent; as well as personal care and other services by 3.06 percent. On the other hand, the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation or a decline in the index were: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.87 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.20 percent; the information, communication and financial services group at 1.08 percent, and the recreation, sports and culture group at 0.23 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for West Bangka Regency in August 2024 are 0.51 percent and 1.06 percent respectively.
