July 2024 Deflation Year on Year (y-on-y) West Bangka Regency is 0.46 percent

Abstract

In July 2024, West Bangka Regency year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation will be 0.46 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 101.63. Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in the index in several expenditure groups, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.08 percent; clothing and footwear group at 3.74 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.13 percent; health group at 1.02 percent; transportation group at 0.52 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.27 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 2.20 percent. On the other hand, the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation or a decline in the index were the equipment, tools, and routine household maintenance group at 0.09 percent; information, communication, and financial services group at 1.08 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group at 0.23 percent; and the education group at 0.08 percent. The month-to-month (m-to-m) and year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rates for West Bangka Regency in July 2024 are 0.61 percent and 0.55 percent, respectively.
